Visitors to Automotive Testing Expo Europe 2018 on the lookout for electrical alternatives to conventional pneumatic and hydraulic test systems should take note of the new E-propeller from Additium Technologies. Designed for its E-Launcher rig, the E-propeller is a powerful electric actuator based on linear motor technology that achieves high speed, accuracy and repeatability, as well as low operational cost. It meets existing regulations for current pedestrian protection and interior impact tests, as well as future expected requirements for mis-use testing.
